Cardinal Environmental was called to an active project site where a plumber had encountered suspect material while attempting to restore heat to a multi-tenant building. With no heat and work halted, it was imperative to provide immediate services in a fast and safe manner.
Cardinal arrived on site within one hour after notification, provided an estimate to the owner, and obtained an emergency waiver for the project from Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. Cardinal proceeded to work that very evening. Abatement was done overnight to minimize disruption and expedite the job. An Industrial Hygienist conducted an air and visual test the next morning. Cardinal was able to quote, conduct abatement, provide final air quality test, and complete the project within 24 hours.
